* AVGSL encourages girls to play with their classmates. Girls whose DOB falls close to a division boundary have the option of playing up or down into a division with peers (selected during registration and approved by the AVGSL Player Agent - playeragent@avgsl.org). Note that summer tournament teams are required to form using the Year Born divisions.

* AVGSL generally accepts 4 year olds into the 6U division. 4 year old play requests must by approved by the AVGSL Player Agent (playeragent@avgsl.org).
